RegTech Roundtable (Holland Fintech), hosted by Monidee
07-02-2018 - Amsterdam
If 2017 was for Regtech a period of extensive growth, 2018 will definitely be the key year for regulatory challenges especially in the European scenario.
Three crucial new regulations will indeed come into effect: MiFIDII, PSD2 and GDPR. In addition, there is a continuing strong need for regtech regarding KYC and AML due diligence processes. Increasing levels of regulation and regulatory expectations globally after the 2008 financial crisis have prompted a period of accelerated development of regtech. Companies of all sizes are struggling to keep up with changing regulations and increased expectations. Being a technological solution, regtech can provide transparency to the regulatory process, allowing a more hands off approach by government.
As Holland FinTech we couldn’t be out of the discussion and therefore we put Regtech as one of key topics for 2018.
Main topics included in the RegTech KYC/CDD; front end AML; transaction monitoring, anti terrorist financing, front and back end.
